A range of free Summer Reading Club templates, graphics and promotional materials are available for public libraries to promote and use to align their Summer Reading Club program to the annual theme.

In addition to these free materials, themed Library Activation Kits and promotional items are made available for purchase each year. For information on these items click here.

What resources are available?

Dropbox is an online content storage tool that allows documents and files to be shared among many.

To ensure you have the most recent versions of templates or graphics, or for help navigating your way through the SRC Dropbox, be sure to download the READ ME_Dropbox update pdf. as any changes to files or additions to the Dropbox are noted on this file.

About the Summer Reading Club Resources

The Summer Reading Club resources are available in a variety of formats suitable for print, web use or in Microsoft Office applications.

EPS/AI Encapsulated PostScript
Adobe Illustrator
If you ever question when to use it, ask yourself, “Will this be used for a high quality print?” Requires specific software to create. For example, Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Illustrator.
PNG Portable Network Graphics New image file format. Good for Web application, Word docs, PowerPoint. Not recommended for large print productions. Insert into document as a Picture.

Both high resolution and low resolution files have been made available for your use.

General Guide to use:

ON THE WEB—we recommend using the low resolution PNG files
IN EMAILS—we recommend using the low resolution PNG files
IN MICROSOFT APPLICATIONS—we recommend using the low resolution PNG files
FOR PRINT (newspaper, printing press)—we recommend using the high resolution PNG or EPS/AI files
FOR SHARING (with Graphic Designers)—we recommend using the high resolution EPS/AI files.

Guidelines for use

All Summer Reading Club logos, graphics and templates are freely accessible to create your own promotional materials and resources for your Summer Reading Club program.

We ask that you include the Summer Reading Club Logo where able on your promotional materials. We also encourage you to include the Summer Reading Club website URL (www.summerreadingclub.org.au) on all materials you create.
